Happy International Women’s Day! Every year on the 8th of March, the world comes together to celebrate women and spotlight the fight for gender equality. This year, Gung wishes to place a focus on the women that keep our communities alive. Watch the full Women’s Day campaign here.
Our Message
Our message: ‘Women’ is not our only label. Women are complex, diverse, and beautiful. However, women are often confined by gendered stereotypes and traditional views. This campaign aims to prove that women are so much more than their gender. With infinite potential, these ordinary women are making an extraordinary impact.
A Celebration of Everyday Women
Within our local community alone, we found such diverse personalities to be a part of our campaign. From gym trainers to makeup artists, all the women featured in the video showcase the many different roles women take up to keep communities thriving.
Wall of Empowerment @ Experience Store
Along with our message, we are also holding a special Women’s Day event exclusively at our Experience Store @Eslite Spectrum. To join, post up some words of encouragement for other women onto our ‘Wall of Empowerment’. Gung is all about recognising everyone’s unique individuality and embracing what makes you, YOU. Let this be a reminder that being a woman is not the only thing that defines us.
